This EFCI leadership outline is designed

To help identify and train church leaders and workers in some of the most basic principles of church leadership.
To help our church leaders to understand the importance of true leadership and discover ways to make our church even more effective.

Ebenezer Family Church recognises that having a great pastor, who has the charisma, and the drive to preach the gospel, is not enough to make the church effective. We believe that there is a crucial need for support and leadership from others in order to accomplish any Gods given vision and making the church effective. We also equally recognise the need to have quality leadership with empowered leaders who can lead, encourage, and direct to serve and more effective in their leadership responsibilities.

The leadership development / training program is therefore aimed at providing basic leadership skills that can make more effective leaders in the church that provide direction in their different areas of function. (Ephesians 4:11-12), Jesus gave some leaders of the Church (apostles, prophets, evangelists and pastors and teachers) “to equip the saints for the work of ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
